Man is hit while crossing North Post Road

A 73-year-old man was hit on Dec. 26 while walking across North Post Road at Courtney Drive/Municipal Drive — a location that the WWBPA has recommended for a set of pedestrian-activated yellow flashing lights for safety reasons.

Roundabouts, bridge replacements and more Mercer County projects coming to West Windsor

Mercer County Executive Dan Benson highlighted seven county road construction projects that are planned for West Windsor in the next few years as well as three longer-term projects when he spoke at the West Windsor Bicycle and Pedestrian Alliance’s annual meeting last week.

West Windsor wins 3 more state grants for biking and walking

West Windsor has just been awarded three grants totaling $688,000 from Governor Murphy that will help make West Windsor even better for those who walk, bike and scoot.

Together with three grants awarded early this year, West Windsor has received $1.33 million from the state for new multi-use paths, new sidewalks, and other bicycle and pedestrian improvements.
