Back in the fall, the WWBPA arranged a “walk and talk” with Mercer County’s engineer to discuss the new multi-use path on Edinburg Road by Mercer County Park. Part of the feedback was the need for pedestrian-activated flashing lights (rectangular rapid-flashing beacons to engineers) at the new crosswalk from Howell Court to help residents safely cross Edinburg Road (a county road).
West Windsor government officials have proposed a capital improvement budget for FY26-27 that once again includes money for biking and walking projects — but also makes a cut in one key area.
