The West Windsor Bicycle and Pedestrian Alliance will be collecting unwanted bicycles for the Boys & Girls Club of Mercer County Bike Exchange on Oct. 25.
Bring your unwanted bicycles to our table at the WW farmers market (Vaughn Drive parking lot, 9 am to 1 pm.) Volunteers at Bike Exchange will fix up those bikes for resale. Proceeds go to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County.
Since Bike Exchange was founded in 2009, it has raised more than $2 million through the sale of more than 30,000 bikes.
Don’t worry if a bike sitting in your garage isn’t in great shape; Bike Exchange can still use it. It will also take any unwanted bike accessories.
Last year we collected 29 bikes of all sizes plus one indoor bike trainer and some bike gear.
Donations are tax-deductible if you itemize.

This is such a fantastic initiative! Donating unwanted bikes not only helps the Boys & Girls Club but also gives those bikes a second life. Love that Bike Exchange accepts bikes in any condition and even accessories. It’s a win-win for the community. I’ll definitely be bringing my old bike to the market!
