Ride of Silence is POSTPONED to May 28

The weather forecast calls for rain and cold, so we feel it’s best to postpone the Ride of Silence planned for May 21.

It is rescheduled for Wednesday, May 28.

The plan remains the same: Gather outside the West Windsor Senior Center at 6: 45 p.m. and begin riding with a police escort at 7 p.m. We will bike 10 solemn miles at a 10-12 mph pace.

Here’s the route.

Helmets are required. Don’t forget lights and/or reflective gear.

All are welcome. We will ride as a group as much as possible.

The Ride of Silence is an international event top honor those hit or killed while riding their bicycles. Weather permitting, it happens at 7 p.m. local time on the third Wednesday in May (National Bike Month). Last year, rides happened in 40 countries.

By participating in this Ride of Silence, you agree to let photos from the ride be used by the WWBPA.
