West Windsor’s Trolley Line Trail was extended from Penn Lyle Road to Village Road West in the fall of 2021. But this new 0.4-mile stretch is still not showing up on Google Maps.
Help us get the news to Google. This will take less than 5 minutes! We’re hoping that if Google hears from enough of us, the map will be updated faster.
Here’s how to do it.
Start by going to Google Maps. I suggest you get the map to show the general area of the missing Trolley Line Trail, just so you don’t have to find it later. Now click on the three lines in the upper left corner.

You’ll get a pop-up window. Scroll down to “edit the map” and click.

Now click on “add or fix a road”.

A satellite view of the map opens up. Now pick “add a road”. (Don’t worry, you’ll be able to make it a trail.)

Look between Penn Lyle and Village Road, and it’s obvious where the power lines are. That’s also the Trolley Line Trail.
Click where the Trolley Line Trail should be (it doesn’t matter whether it’s at an endpoint or in the middle) and release the cursor. (Releasing is key!) Now roll the cursor to an end point. Don’t left or right click as you do this. You’ll see a line of dots. Now click to lock the end point in place. Go back to your first dot and drag the line to the other end, if needed, then release.
Like how it looks? If not, adjust.
Before you click done, change the road type to biking/walking trail and name it
Trolley Line Trail.

Now click done.
There’s one last step: click submit.
