The WWBPA needs you: Renew your membership (or become a member!)

Your membership in the all-volunteer West Windsor Bicycle and Pedestrian Alliance (WWBPA) helps promote more sidewalks, crosswalks, bike lanes, and other improvements that make it safer for everyone to walk and bicycle in West Windsor. Thank you for your past support!

Renew your membership for 2022 or join for the first time and show our elected officials that you want to see improvements continue around our town.

With all the challenges of Covid, in 2021 we

  • Returned to the Farmers Market to address your questions and concerns about local walking and cycling.
  • Distributed free trail maps and sold low-cost safety gear
  • Made free bike-repairs and adjustments
  • Taught children to ride a bike
  • Collected over 30 bikes to donate to the Trenton Bicycle Exchange in support of the Boys and Girls Club of Mercer County
  • Contributed bicycle & pedestrian goals to the Circulation Element of the Township’s Master Plan
  • Awarded 3 scholarships to WW-P high school seniors
  • Organized and supported community bike rides, and more…

Our most significant accomplishment in 2021 was helping West Windsor renew its Bicycle Friendly Community status at the Bronze level. Awarded by the League of American Bicyclists, West Windsor is one of only six NJ communities designated as Bicycle Friendly!  Many thanks to the WW and WW-P School District personnel who worked with us.

For 2022, we have partnered with the West Windsor Historical Society to celebrate West Windsor’s 225th anniversary by hosting special events.

We also have reached out to community groups like the Girl Scouts about small rides tailored to their members. Can you suggest another group? Is there something else you’d like to see? Tell us at [email protected].

If you join or renew before Feb. 28, 2022, you will receive a free 20 oz. reusable water bottle (made of BPA-free plastic) as a thank you gift. We hope you will continue your support of the WWBPA by joining or renewing today to help make West Windsor a safer and more enjoyable place to live.

The WWBPA is a 501(c)3 organization. Your membership is a donation and may be tax-deductible. (Consult your tax professional.)

Thank you for making West Windsor better for all who walk, jog, scoot, and bike!
